  1. What Will Happen Next (pg. 340)
  2. Five Tribles (pg. 249) Use this activity while reading the story, stopping to show how students are feeling as the story is progressing.
  3. Milling to Music (pg. 267) Use this strategy when you have read to the  middle of the book, asking the students to discuss what they think will happen next in the story with a partner.
